Molly Ackhurst

Activist, advocate and researcher working to end all forms of violence against women and girls - and specifically sexual violence.

Molly Ackhurst is one of the Press and Media Coordinators for Hollaback! London - a London based collective of around 40 activists that is part of a global network dedicated to ending street harassment and public invasions of space. We work together to understand harassment, ignite public conversations, and develop innovative strategies to ensure equal access to public spaces.

Molly has a practice-based background, working in the specialist sexual violence sector for many years as a frontline worker, as both an outreach worker and advocate. This combines with her extensive experience as a campaigner, researcher and activist against violence against women, often working closely alongside the End Violence Against Women coalition - a UK-wide group of 60 women's organisations providing frontline support to women and girls experiencing and at risk of all forms of abuse.
