Molly Macleod

Advocate for Down Syndrome

Molly is the mother of Maxwell, born with Trisomy 21 on World Down syndrome day 2014. She is passionate about raising awareness to change perceptions of what it really means to have a child with Down Syndrome in the 21st century.

She is particularly interested in how disability affects families, friendships and communities. How the experience of raising a child with additional needs can help us come to value the true meaning of inclusion; enabling us to celebrate our individuality and value everyone's contribution to society.
