Born and raised in the UK to Punjabi parents, I have grown up with a love of sports, but my heart is football and cricket. I'm a Liverpool FC season ticket holder and former England Supporters club member and have been lucky enough to travel extensively following football and cricket teams. As I get older, I am interested in exploring the relationship between sports and fan culture and society.
My work is far removed from sport. I'm a neurosurgeon currently working in Vancouver with plans to return to the UK later in the year. I have an interest in health policy and management, particularly within the UK NHS.
