Nigel Farage MEP - Leader of UKIP

Nigel Farage is Leader of UKIP and a MEP South East of England.

He co-founded UKIP in 1993. He was recently re-elected Leader of the party with 60% of the vote. First elected to the European Parliament in 1999, he has
become one of the most outspoken critics of the EU and often makes
global headlines with his interventions in parliament. His ultimate
objective is the UK's total withdrawal from the EU.

A firm believer in Independence for the United Kingdom, he is a
proponent of free speech and has faced considerable hostility from his
political opponents for speaking out in favour of free and fair
referenda on the transfer of power from the people to the EU.

In his rare spare time he likes fishing, country sports, cricket and
traditional English pubs. However, most of his time is spent
traveling around the country and other countries in the EU telling
the truth about the European Union.

He is no great fan of light aircraft.
