Chairman of IdeasTap

Peter De Haan is a businessman and philanthropist, and a passionate advocate for young people and the arts. He is the founder and Chairman of The Peter De Haan Charitable Trust and the Chairman of arts charity IdeasTap.

Previously, as Chief Financial Officer at Saga, Peter gained enormous experience in direct and affinity marketing for the holiday, publishing and financial services sectors. Selling his share stake in 1999, Peter set up various businesses in addition to the charitable trust. As a firm believer in the venture philanthropy model, Peter was quoted in the 2011 Government White Paper on Giving.
