Peter Webber has worked as an editor, a director and a producer for over 25 years. Starting off in British television, he made his mark as an award-winning documentary director with Oxford Films before moving on to make drama for the BBC.
His debut feature film was the Oscar-nominated Girl With A Pear Earring, starring Colin Firth and Scarlett Johansson. His wide ranging career has seen him direct episodes of HBO's SIX FEET UNDER and the cult horror film HANNIBAL RISING.
He recently directed EMPEROR starring Tommy Lee Jones, set in 1945 Tokyo in the first days of the American occupation.
