Poppy is Founder and Director of Poppy's - The Modern Funeral Company, offering a simple, affordable and creative alternative to the traditional funeral.

Poppy founded Poppy’s because she wanted to help families take creative control of their funerals, memorials and celebrations of life. She feels strongly that everyone deserves a ‘good’ funeral. It should be a funeral that reflects the person who has died. It should be a funeral to be proud of. Her mission is to encourage the world to talk, think and learn about death, dying and funerals so we can make empowered, informed decisions when we need to.

Poppy has been a volunteer at Samaritans & Trinity Hospice, and a Deputy Director at Sotheby’s.
