At times it seemed like an obvious trap for Liverpool to even consider attacking. Every time they pushed forward, they left space. Boom, in a flash, in swift waves of uncontrollable white streaming forward relentlessly, Tottenham were always on the attack. Liverpool containing it at 4-1 felt merciful, an escape from a humiliation.

Brexit shows that education is important, and history - told in its accurate full - really can help in mending wayward social attitudes. We think this is our country and no-one has a right to come here because we just don't know who else fought for us.

The integration of British Muslims cannot solely focus on the religious aspects of it, on looking at what we can do to stop extremist preachers, socially conservative scholars and online radicalisation. For there to be cultural integration there has to also be economic integration.

For the Left to reclaim Englishness cannot be done by ignoring the diversity of the working class it's seeking to appeal to, nor by simply erasing what Englishness meant to many people. It means understanding that this identity meant many things, some were good, but many, unfortunately, were not.

The Indians who fought in Dunkirk deserve their own film. The soldiers caught and held by the Japanese for years under brutal torture deserve their own film. Fitting them into Nolan's Dunkirk would simply have turned them into token gestures there to appease our liberal consciences and achieve nothing more.

Particularly within Muslim South Asian communities, mental illness is dismissed because supposedly all prayers can cure sadness. Depression is regarded as a lack of faith. The low energy and motivation to do anything, the distancing from the things you love, become seen as signs of weak faith.

Genocide happens and parts of the left simply erase it on a consistent basis. I dialled down my criticisms of Corbyn after 8th June but it's immoral to remain silent over something as important as this. The Labour Party is becoming a political home for awful genocide apologists and it runs right through to the leader himself.

If he arrives and they march, I will be there with my placard with thousands of others to remind the white nationalists that we are still here. This is our home and they can never make us go away.
