Raz has been a freelance theatre director for over 20 years. He has directed plays in an array of theatres and locations from The South Bank to Salisbury to South Sudan. His work has ranged from new plays to the classics and everything in between. He has just directed the Pulitzer-prize winning play, WIT, by Margaret Edson at the Royal Exchange Theatre.

He is currently writing his first book -Death and The Elephant: How Cancer Saved My Life - which is about his experiences in 1995 with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and a gambling addiction. It is being published by the pioneering crowdfunding publishers Unbound. You can find it here
