Reporter, writer, roving itinerant.

Rebecca is the former Senior Reporter at the International Bar Association, where she specialised in issues relating to human rights and the rule of law. She quit in June 2015 to spend a year cycling alone across the Middle East, with the aim of finding real-life stories and challenging people's preconceptions about the region. She now works as a freelance journalist and has written for the Guardian, Economist, Independent, Sunday Times Magazine, Daily Mail, Spectator, Evening Standard, and various sports, travel and music publications.
