Adjunct Professor of Marketing, London Business School, and Deputy Chairman, Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide
Richard Hytner is Adjunct Professor of Marketing, London Business School, and Deputy Chairman, Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide.
Richard, a law graduate from the University of Cambridge, joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 2003 as its CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Today as deputy chairman, he works with leaders and leadership teams from many of Saatchi & Saatchi’s worldwide clients, including Toyota, Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Santander, PwC and Cushman & Wakefield. He is also Worldwide CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi’s sustainability business.
Richard was made Adjunct Associate Professor of Marketing at London Business School in August 2011, where he graduated as a Sloan Fellow in 2003. He teaches courses on communications; Lovemarks, the future beyond brands; and creativity. He will be speaking at the school’s flagship Global Leadership Summit on June 24th 2014.
Richard co-founded the Manchester United Supporters’ Trust to promote fan ownership of the club; is a trustee of Planting Promise, a sustainable educational enterprise in Sierra Leone; and a trustee of the British Heart Foundation.
Richard’s first book, Consiglieri: Leading From The Shadows was published on 4th June by Profile Books. It is a celebration of the craft of leadership that supports, counsels, challenges and checks the out and out charismatic leader.
