I was 14 when my dad died of pancreatic cancer. When I was 25, my mum was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour and I became her carer. I struggled to find anyone talking about how these things affect you as a young person or how you're meant to cope with losing someone you love at a young age.

So I've decided to do something about it ...

I know there’s nothing that anyone can say or do that will magically make things easy, but I hope that by sharing my story, reflecting on my experiences and writing about the lessons I have learnt, I can make things slightly easier for people who are going through something similar.
