Ruhana Ali is a Citizens UK Community Organiser with 3 years of experience training local leaders in the art of public action.

She works in Tower Hamlets with 24 local member institutions in the Borough and as the Senior Organiser for the Muslim community developing and training key institutions and hundreds of leaders across the UK in effective leadership and organising skills.

Ruhana read Social Policy, Criminal Justice and Psychology at the LSE and became the first Muslim women to be elected as Sabbatical Officer of LSE Students' Union.

She is a professional presenter, currently presenting on the Islam Channel and is also a writer.

Ruhana lives in Bow with her husband Qamrul.
