Policy and Research Officer at the Muslim Charities Forum

Saif has been working with MCF since May 2011, primarily working on an EU funding strategy for Muslim charities as well as other research projects. Outside of MCF, he freelances as an economic writer for The Statesman's Yearbook. Previously, he worked as a Research Assistant to the Chief Executive of the Charities Aid Foundation.

In 2011, Saif worked on an evaluation project with Save the Children in Bangladesh to assess the impact of community mobilisation on maternal & newborn health outcomes in the rural communities of Sylhet.

Saif graduated from the London School of Economics in 2007 and holds an MSc in Economic History Research. His research dissertation investigated basic living standards in China during the 20th Century, and its importance to the extensive growth achieved post-1978 market reforms.
