Sarah is Head of Policy at the Countryside Alliance. Sarah has been a leading campaigner defending the rights of rural Britain, she has led many campaigns at the Countryside Alliance from defending rural Post Offices, ensuring the roll out of broadband in rural areas and campaigning to get outdoor education on the National Curriculum. Sarah is also a director of the Countryside Alliance Awards – which is an annual celebration of rural life through people, produce, heritage and enterprise. The Countryside Alliance is the major British campaigning organisation on rural issues. With over 105,000 members the Countryside Alliance defends and promotes the rural way of life.
