I was one of the lucky ones. Thanks to a social worker who took an interest in me, my life turned around when I managed to get on a sports training course and qualified in sports management. I got a job at Gateshead Council which helped to build my self-respect.
You don't need a pricey gym membership or fancy equipment - just taking ten minutes to fit some simple exercises into your daily routine can make all the difference. In fact, setting realistic goals that don't take up too much time or money is the best way to keep motivated and make sure you stay on track.
