Shantanu Bhagwat

With more than 16 years of experience in venture capital & impact investing, across sectors & geographies, Shantanu was, until recently, a Venture Partner at Impact Ventures UK. He started his career in early-stage tech investing with Amadeus Capital Partners in 2001. Prior to Impact Ventures, Shantanu was a Venture Partner at Nesta Impact Investments where he joined after several years as Principal Director at Accion's Frontier Investments Group. Shantanu has also worked at Monitor Co. in London and before that, spent several years as a fast-track career diplomat in New Delhi and Tokyo. A personal investor in, and an advisor to several start-ups, Shantanu is a frequent speaker on social entrepreneurship at conferences and B-Schools. A graduate in Computer Engineering, Shantanu holds an MBA from London Business School where he was a Chevening Scholar.
