Simon Cairns has spent the last 15 years helping professionals with their career goals. He is currently a consultant for Kaplan Holborn College where he is responsible for the employability functions for Kaplan law undergraduates and other professional courses.

He studied at the University of Westminster, then the Inns of Court School of Law, and qualified as a Barrister in the 1990s, before making the transition to legal recruitment. Simon worked and ultimately managed Prolaw, one of London’s most successful legal agencies and part of the Select Group of companies. In 2004, Simon accepted a role as General Manager of BCG Attorney Search in the US, and for the next four years from his base in Atlanta, he grew BCG with strategic hires across the US. While here, he also launched Law Firm Staff, a legal staffing recruiter working alongside BCG. Simon returned to his former company, (now owned by Randstad) as Director of Legal Recruitment for the US. He returned to the UK in 2011 and launched his own company, Employment Tiger. Here he helps clients realise their career goals with consultancy services.
