Simone Roche

Simone is the driving force behind not-for-profit initiative Women 1st, which aims to transform the face of boards in the visitor economy and support women who aspire to senior leadership roles.
Simone’s role encompasses everything from curating events (including the annual Women 1st Conference) to meeting with inspirational people from across the visitor economy to promote gender diversity and support women in business.
As director, Simone is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of Women 1st and the development of the initiative’s training and mentoring programmes, events and membership offers.
