In April 2016 he made his literary debut with "The Hero in Me," a story that tackles the pain of losing a mother at a young age and the birth of a heroin addiction. Stephen is also a self-taught filmmaker & photographer whose documentary "AFRO BRASIL," premiered on the blog Seven Scribes, and highlights the black experience in Brazil. Stephen is also known as "Radio Stevie," a rapper/singer whose debut EP, "Rap Queen" on Up Style Records will premiere in November 2016. Stephen J. Grant hails from New Haven, Connecticut, but is currently living in São Paulo, Brazil.
