Taffan Ako Sharif was born 1994 and fled the war as a political refugee against Saddam husseins regime with her mother and sister. She was raised in Sweden and works today actively to assist women and children fleeing ISIS. She's also a One Young World Ambassador and a social entrepreneur, running her own foundation and lecturing worldwide about her own story and the humanitarian crisis going on.
