Tinashe Kapuya

Agricultural Economist and Trade Policy Analyst

Tinashe Kapuya is the Head for International Trade and Investment Intelligence at the Agricultural Business Chamber. In his role at the Chamber, he lobbies for South African agribusinesses for favourable trade and Investment policies by liaising with private and public sector stakeholders in the policy formulation process. He serves as the Deputy Chair for the Trade Policy Committee in Business Unity South Africa (BUSA), and also serves as part of the Agricultural Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) Technical Working Group on Trade and Markets, among various other roles in South Africa and the region. He has previously worked as a researcher for the Bureau for Food and Agricultural Policy (BFAP) and the Trade and Industry Policy Strategies (TIPS).
