Tun Khin

Tun Khin is an ethnic Rohingya Muslim from Arakan State, Burma. His grandfather was a Parliamentary Secretary during the democratic period after Burma gained independence. Tun Khin is President of the Burmese Rohingya Organisation UK. The Burmese Rohingya Organisation UK plays a crucial role in ensuring that information about the Rohingya reaches international media and policy-makers around the world, and provides a vital voice for Rohingya people. Tun Khin has spoken about the situation of the Rohingya at the US Congress, the British Parliament, European Parliament, European Human Rights Council, European Human Rights Commission and the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. He is also a regular media commentator on Burma.
