Vivienne Benson works in research communications at the Institute of Development Studies, where she indulges her love of writing and words in general. In her free time, she enjoys running, sewing and some occasional travel. She is keenly aware of disability issues following her mother’s catastrophic sepsis and having grown up wearing hearing aids.
