Wandile Sihlobo

Agricultural economist

Wandile Sihlobo is an Agricultural Economist and Head of Agribusiness research at the Agricultural Business Chamber (Agbiz) in South Africa. He is a columnist for Business Day and Farmers Weekly magazine. Sihlobo has previously served as an economist at Grain South Africa (Grain SA), where he was mainly responsible for macroeconomics, grain market and international trade research. He also served as part of the secretariat of the Agri-Sector Unity Forum (ASUF) Land Reform working group. Sihlobo holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Stellenbosch University.
