Will Watson

Peace Practitioner

I received my degree in Peace Studies from Leeds Metropolitan University and studied International Human Rights at the University of California, Berkeley.

I worked in the UK student movement between 2008-2010 defending and extending the rights of students and I continue to volunteer with students and the UK's national student voice, the National Union of Students.

I describe myself as a Peace practitioner because I believe awareness and understanding of the field needs to be improved and my writing on peace, politics, the media and human rights is a small step in the right direction. Alongside Huffington I blog for my own site willonline, the international peace project Master Peace and International Justice Central, a global movement to support the ICC.
