West London's rapper/actor, Bashy returns to the music limelight with his emphatic new single 'These Are The Songs' featuring Jareth.
Bashy, aka Ashley Thomas from West London, takes us through a nostalgic journey using the popular song titles of monster hits from the UKG and even early Grime music days.
The new single, already receiving daytime spins from Sara Cox on BBC Radio 1, Charlie Sloth on 1xtra making it "Record of the week", Trevor Nelson, Mistajam and not forgetting spins on Choice FM and the addition to the KISSFresh Playlist, has made the track on set to be a summer smash.
The video, directed by Paul Akinrinlola, is set "Back in the Day" and revisits the day of the ''UK Garage Golden years'' but with a flash forward performance scene from Bashy name dropping some of the classic songs of the era.
Bashy, always one for pushing his lyrical prowess, litters 'These Are The Songs' with fun wordplay courtesy of the classic Garage anthems sampling the Danny Weed classic "Creeper".
