Amid all the drama of the US presidential election race, Ariana Grande has offered us a look at what it would be like if she was in the White House – and it’s pretty fabulous.

The singer takes up office in the video for her new single Positions, which she debuted just hours after the latest presidential debate on Friday.

It sees her sweeping through the corridors of the White House flanked by an all-female team of aides, while she also takes a seat inside the Oval Office to sign papers.

The video also features a cameo from Ariana’s dogs, who she takes for a walk across the White House lawn.

Positions is a love song about Ariana’s willingness to please her partner and she later takes to the White House kitchen to prepare a meal.

“Switching the positions for you, cooking in the kitchen and I’m in the bedroom, I’m in the Olympics, way I’m jumping through hoops,” she sings on the track.

Positions is believed to be the lead single from her upcoming, as-yet-untitled sixth studio album.

Her most recent album, Thank U, Next, arrived in February last year and topped the charts around the world, including in both the UK and US.

This year, she has released two duets – the pandemic-themed Stuck With U, a collaboration with Justin Bieber, arrived in May, while later that month Grande teamed up with Lady Gaga for the smash hit Rain On Me.
