Sometimes, things are funny for absolutely no reason and you can’t explain why something has tickled you so much.
And that’s exactly what happened to Bradley Walsh during the most recent episode of The Chase.
The presenter was left in complete stitches at a question on the ITV quiz show, while everyone else on the show failed to get what the joke was.
Contestant Rodger was asked: “Nineteenth century composer William Crotch was also famous as a player of what instrument?”
Bradley could not keep it together as he read out the three potential answers, which were an oboe, bagpipes or an organ.
“That is absolutely priceless,” he said, as Chaser the Beast looked on in bemusement.
A giggly Brad then turned to the contestant and asked, “That’s funny eh, Rog?”
But he didn’t seem quite so convinced, replying: “Well, it’s a little bit funny yes.”
Bradley was set off again when it was revealed the correct answer to the question was an organ.
“Old Billy Crotch plays with his organ?” he asked, crumpling into laughter again.
Never change, Bradley.
