Cheryl Drops Surname Fernandez-Versini 'In Bid To Move On From Ex-Husband Jean-Bernard'

And she's not going back to Tweedy or Cole either.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is following in the footsteps of Adele, Madonna and Cher by becoming one of those stars who only goes by her first name.

The former 'X Factor' judge is dropping her surname Fernandez-Versini, following her split from French husband, Jean-Bernard.

She will now only be known as 'Cheryl', with The Mirror reporting she wants to start afresh after the breakdown of her second marriage.

While Cheryl has been using just her first name for her music career, her new moniker will extend to all aspects of her public life.
