Following the shock death of his 50-year-old daughter, Vanya, Bill was granted a period of indefinite absence last week, however, he has now decided to resume filming, HuffPost UK can confirm.

The sad news of Vanya’s death was announced last Thursday (8 March), with her partner later confirming that had she died following liver failure.

Speaking at the Cheshire home they shared, Toby Evans said: “Vanya was a nice person, a lovely person.

“It was a liver failure that she died of, it happened very quickly. But I don’t really want to talk about it, we’re very private people.”

Vanya was Bill’s daughter from his first marriage to Anna Cropper, and many of her friends posted tributes online in the wake of her death.

One friend, Wendy Elisabeth Vick, wrote: “My beautiful, perfect, wonderful best friend and soulmate. Forever in my heart.”
