‘Coronation Street’ fans have seen the last of Jason Grimshaw’s dad Tony Stewart, as he’s reportedly going to be killed off, off-screen.
Tony was last seen in Weatherfield back in November, after signing his half of the rovers Return back to Liz McDonald.
Now, multiple reports are claiming that Jason will be told his dad has died, in scenes set to air next month.
‘Corrie’ bosses are yet to address the reports, and haven’t revealed how the news will affect Jason and Liz.
The news will also come as a shock to Eileen Grimshaw, who has recently been preoccupied by a budding romance with the villainous Pat Phelan. Will she realise he definitely isn’t Mr Right?
Elsewhere in Weatherfield, the Platts are set for a dramatic time, when Sarah goes into labour five weeks early.
