One of our favourite ‘Coronation Street’ stars has delighted fans, by revealing that he’s agreed a new deal with the soap’s bosses.
Antony Cotton has played Sean Tully since 2003, and the actor has now announced that he’ll be sticking around in Weatherfield for at least another year.
However, the day was “bittersweet” for the actor, as it was also his last working with Ryan Thomas.
Posting on Twitter, he wrote:
Ryan has played Jason Grimshaw since 2000, and his departure was announced in 2015.
In recent months, he’s been at the centre of an emotional storyline, which saw his dad Tony Stewart die off-screen.
There's been plenty of other dramatic moments in ‘Corrie’ lately, and this week, we’ll (finally!) find out how Callum Logan’s body is discovered - while Jason is about to become one of the key suspects.
