An adorable little Yorkshire Terrier is taking to the streets in a teeny-tiny Barbour jacket to show the world all the wonders of his home county.
The pup, aptly named Yorkie, is presenting his own three-part travel show around God’s own county on YouTube under the guidance of Visit York.

Visit York hopes the series will highlight the wonders of North Yorkshire and encourage tourism.

Yorkie will be visiting one of the best preserved medieval streets in Europe, taking in the giant locomotives at the National Railway Museum, riding in a steam train on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, going for walkies on the Moors and checking out Whitby Abbey.

"Throughout the series Yorkie gives the likes of Michael Palin and Portillo a run for their money," Visit York said in a press release.

The creators say this is the world’s first travelogue series hosted by a dog.

The first episode of Yorkie's show will be released during August, with the second and third instalments coming out in September.
