Big Brother's Emma Willis Insists She’s Staying With The Show If It Gets A New Home

She won't be doing a Davina McCall.

Emma Willis has pledged her allegiance to ‘Big Brother’ should it move to another broadcaster after its final series finishes on Channel 5.

While the presenter is currently in the dark about the reality series’ future beyond November after Channel 5′s decision to axe it, she has said she would stay with the show if it returned on another channel.

Speaking to Radio Times, she said: “Would I be a part of another ‘Big Brother’? Why wouldn’t I? I’ve been a part of it for such a long time.

“As long as diaries allowed for it and it was still the ‘Big Brother’ I know and love, then yes.”

Admitting to still being unclear about further series, Emma added: “I haven’t got a clue where or if ‘Big Brother’ is going anywhere. I didn’t even know it was being considered by other channels.”

It was previously rumoured ITV were considering snapping up ‘Big Brother’ as part of a deal to buy production company Endemol Shine, but have since pulled out of negotiations.

Channel 4 has also ruled out the show returning to the broadcaster, while Sky has said it has no plans to pick it up.

After Channel 5 announced the current series would be the last, Endemol bosses said they were “excited about future possibilities for ‘Big Brother’ in the UK”.

‘Big Brother’ began on Channel 4 in 2000 with Davina McCall as host, before moving to Channel 5 in 2011 when former housemate and ‘Ultimate Big Brother’ winner Brian Dowling took over.

Emma took the reins in 2013, after previously working on the final Channel 4 spin-off series ‘Little Brother’ and hosting ‘Bit On The Side’.

‘Big Brother’ airs from Sunday to Friday at 10pm on Channel 5.
