‘Emmerdale’ viewers are set to see the return of Paddy Kirk later this month, but while we’re delighted to see him back, the character is set for a few nasty surprises.
And of course, the big one is that his estranged wife Rhona is now in a relationship with Pierce, whose wife Tess Paddy had an affair with.
It doesn’t take long for Paddy to find out the news either, as when he returns to Smithy, he walks in on the duo together.
Prior to going back to the Dales, Paddy had hoped he might be able to patch things up with Rhona, so to say this is a disappointment is a little bit of an understatement.
There’s also the small matter of his best mate Marlon Dingle’s love life, which is hotting up thanks to a new relationship with Carly Hope, the half-sister of the mother of his child.
They certainly know how to keep things complicated in the village…
