The ex-girlfriend of a British millionaire who was found shot dead at his home in Spain will appear in court today charged over his death.
Slovakian national Mayka Marica Kukucova was handed over to Spanish authorities after she was detained in Slovakia on suspicion of "consumed intentional homicide".
She is accused of killing her former partner, Andrew Bush, 48, who was found at his mansion near Marbella on the Costa del Sol in Spain in April 2014.
It is thought that Kukucova, a swimwear model, gave herself up at a police station in her home town of Nova Bosaca shortly afterwards and was later extradited.
Mr Bush, who owned a jewellery store in his home town of Bristol before moving to Spain was allegedly shot twice after returning home from a holiday with his then girlfriend, Maria Korotaeva.
The Russian national, who met Mr Bush while studying as an undergraduate at the University of the West of England, told how she cowered in a car as her boyfriend was killed.
She later posted a picture of the couple on Instagram with the message: "I will always love you. You will always be in my heart. The man who changed my world for better. My teacher. I wish I could of saved you. RIP Andy Bush."
Kukucova will appear on Monday morning at the Ciudad de la Justicia in Malaga, where a trial by jury will begin.
