Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice has announced he and Ashley Roberts have called an end to their 14-month relationship.
The professional dancer confirmed he had split from the Pussycat Dolls star in a tweet on Thursday evening.
He said: “@ImAshleyRoberts and I have made the decision to separate as a couple. We remain friends and wish each other well for the future.”
Ashley, who is gearing up for the Pussycat Dolls forthcoming reunion tour as well as the release of their comeback single React, has yet to comment about the split.
The couple met during the 2018 series of Strictly, with Giovanni confirming they were an item in January last year.
Ashley was paired with Pasha Kovalev while Giovanni was coupled with Steps singer Faye Tozer.
Giovanni and Ashley’s relationship wasn’t the only one that started during the 2018 series of Strictly.
YouTube star Joe Sugg and his partner Dianne Buswell also got together after being partnered up.
In the past, Giovanni has dated his former Strictly partner Georgia May Foote, as well as reality star Jessica Wright.
