Helicopter Crashes Near Aldborough, North Yorkshire

A pilot has been killed in a helicopter crash near Aldborough, North Yorkshire police have said.

There were no other passengers aboard.

Police were called at 1.23pm on Wednesday and remain at the scene. Fire and ambulance crews were also in attendance.

A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called at about 1.25pm but have now left the scene.
