‘Hollyoaks’ fans have been given a first look at Mercedes McQueen’s upcoming wedding to Joe Roscoe.
Jennifer Metcalfe was spotted filming scenes in a wedding dress outside a Liverpool church earlier this week.
And with three failed marriages behind her, it looks like Mercedes may finally get her happy ending, as she looked to be pretty beaming as she walked out of the church.
Jennifer was seen filming with her on-screen brother John-Paul, played by James Sutton, and Mercedes’ bridesmaid Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring).
Mercedes will be sharing her big day with cousin Celine McQueen (Sarah George), although it is not yet known who she will be marrying.
Mercedes was previously married to Russ Owen, Malachy Fisher and Paul Browning, and viewers of the Channel 4 soap recently saw the character pop the question to boyfriend Joe (Ayden Callaghan).
It was recently announced that there will be some new additions to the McQueen family in the coming months.
Former ‘Waterloo Road’ star Chelsee Healey has joined the cast of ‘Hollyoaks’ as Goldie McQueen, a cousin of the family.
The character will be joined by her two sons, twins Prince and Hunter.
‘Hollyoaks’ airs weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
