In Pictures: Kate Visits Great Ormond Street Hospital

The Duchess of Cambridge chatted to young patients and their families as she visited Great Ormond Street Hospital – and received two teddy bears to take home to Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Kate officially opened a new centre which provides modern accommodation for all the young patients and allows parents or carers to stay comfortably by their bedside.

She was greeted on her arrival by nine-year-old Ava Watt, who has cystic fibrosis:
