But for once, we may have some good news for the tardy among you – it’s only the best wrapping hack our tired eyes have ever seen.
The handy trick, which was shared online this weekend, is already blowing minds across the Twitterverse. Turns out, making sure your cut-out piece of paper completely covers the present is all in the pivot.
In truth, some of the HuffPost UK newsroom were already well aware of this hack, which families have passed down the generations. But others among us are wondering why we’ve never known this piece of essential festive wisdom.
And we’re not alone.
Ultimately, anything that cuts down on waste for a greener Christmas is good enough for us.
We’d only add the suggestion that you check the wrapping paper you’re using is actually recyclable, as many shiny varieties – such as the one in the video above – often aren’t.
