Kylie Jenner’s latest magazine spread is her most revealing yet - and it’s not just down to the photos.
The reality star posed topless for the cover of Complex, but the accompanying interview is even more intimate - as Jenner is completely open about her lip injections for the first time ever.
She reveals she first got lip fillers at the age of 16, but initially didn’t admit it for fear of setting a bad example - a lie she now regrets.
“I wish I had just been honest and upfront,” she said.
Jenner also revealed she previously got carried away with the cosmetic procedure, and has since let her lips go down in size slightly - although she still goes back to her doctor for touch-ups.
In one of the most personal parts of the interview, Jenner shares the story behind why she chose to change her appearance at such a young age.
“It has been an insecurity of mine all my life,” she said. “I just felt like I saw guys staring at my lips. I felt like no one wanted to kiss me.”
Despite sticking with her decision, she also stressed she didn’t want other girls to have to change their appearance to feel good about themselves.
Earlier this year, Dr Simon Ourian, the Los Angeles-based cosmetic dermatologist responsible for her plumped-up pout, revealed the special technique he uses for lip augmentation.
Jenner praised Ourian for his ‘super natural’ looking work during an interview with The New York Times, naming Juvéderm as her filler of choice.
