London Fashion Week: A Poem for Bora Aksu

London Fashion Week: A Poem for Bora Aksu

The weeds that held Ophelia down.

Dried and waterlogged poppy bones.

Knickers stuffed with floral bouquets,

Marie Antoinette x the 1922 summer season.

Period dreams, nouveau attic curtains waft.

The slumber of poppy bones and pond weeds.

Looking up through the water surface, periwinkle laps

My eyelids close.
