Louis Tomlinson’s sister Félicité died after an accidental drug overdose, a coroner has ruled.

An inquest into the 18-year-old’s death said that she died from “misadventure” after taking a “perfect storm” of drugs.

The Instagram star and aspiring fashion designer died at her west London flat in March, with Scotland Yard confirming she was pronounced dead at the scene.

At the inquest, toxicologist Dr Susan Paterson said “toxic” levels of cocaine, Xanax and Oxycodone were found in her system, giving a medical cause of death of “drug toxicity”.

The inquest heard how Félicité had a “history of recreational drug use”, following the death of her mother, Johannah Deakin, from leukaemia in 2016 at the age of 43.

Coroner Shirley Radcliffe was told of how she’d previously been admitted to drug rehabilitation and referred to a private drug addiction health clinic last year.

The coroner concluded: “Félicité Grace Tomlinson has died as a result of drug toxicity on Wednesday the 13th of March 2019.

“She was found unresponsive by her friend at her home address. The London Ambulance Service attended, CPR was commenced but to no avail.

“I think the most appropriate conclusion would be misadventure. This was an individual who took drugs voluntarily and has succumbed to the side effects of those drugs accidentally.

“To some extent I’m sure she knew the risks she was taking, but I do not think this was a deliberate act to end her life.”

Félicité was one of six children and is survived by Louis, older sister Lottie, twin sisters Daisy and Phoebe and twins Ernest and Doris. She was also an aunt to Louis’ son Freddie.
