Louis Walsh Slams One Direction: ‘Simon Cowell Created Monsters’

'They think they're all going to be solo stars. They're not.'

One Direction may be the most successful act in ‘X Factor’ history, but Louis Walsh has revealed that he’s no fan of the lads.

Since their split hiatus commenced, former members Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne have all been working on solo material - none of which have involved them staying with Simon Cowell’s label Syco Records.

Now, Louis has slammed the band, declaring they had “too much money, [and] too much success too quickly”.

Hmmm… We’re no clairvoyants, but perhaps Louis should have waited a little longer before giving his predictions?

While we’re still waiting to see what Big Payno and Louis Tomlinson’s solo careers will involve, Harry has been busy making his mark in the movie business, and recently wrapped filming on Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dunkirk’.

Niall revealed his debut solo single ‘This Town’ earlier this month, and let’s not forget Zayn Malik, who topped the charts with his debut album ‘Mind Of Mine’ in April.
