A man who admitted beheading his scientist wife will be sentenced today.
Bioscientist Samantha Ho, 39, was found dead at a house in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, in September.
Her head and body were discovered separately and a post-mortem examination concluded she died after suffering multiple cuts to the neck.
Her husband, Timothy Allen, 40, of Curlew Place, St Neots, pleaded guilty to manslaughter by diminished responsibility in February having pleaded not guilty to murdering her in December.
The plea to the lesser charge, via video link to the Old Bailey before Mrs Justice McGowan, was accepted by the prosecution.
