Meghan Markle was all smiles and Prince Harry waved to the crowds after the couple enjoyed a Buckingham Palace festive lunch with members of the royal family.
Ms Markle may not yet be a member of the monarchy but she was treated like one after sitting down to a Christmas meal with the Queen, Duke of Edinburgh and their extended family.

The monarch and her consort traditionally host a lunch for their family before leaving for their private Sandringham estate, where the couple spend the holidays.
It is a chance for relatives to meet and catch-up – especially those who will not be joining the Queen at her Norfolk home over the festive period.
Harry will have likely introduced his fiancee to relatives like Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, the Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra who are unlikely to have met the US former actress.

The couple got engaged on November 27 and a few days later a proud prince introduced his bride-to-be to the nation during a series of official events in Nottingham.
It has already been confirmed that Ms Markle will be part of the royal party at Sandringham for Christmas.
The prince drove his partner to Buckingham Palace in a Land Rover Discovery, arriving just before 1pm, and was smartly dressed in a suit, shirt and tie while the former Suits actress wore a Self-Portrait midi dress.

Also among the guests were the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who arrived with their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and their Spanish nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were also invited as were Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, and a number of other minor members of the royal family like the Duke and Duchess of Kent.
Lunch probably finished around 2.30pm as guests began leaving 15 minutes later with the prince and Ms Markle driving away at 2.55pm.
Harry and his fiancee will be married on May 19 at Windsor Castle’s St George’s Chapel – an event which will be one of the royal highlights of 2018.
