Mel B has let on more than she was meant to about the recent Spice Girls' get-together, confirming that the members involved did, in fact, make some music together.

Mel told Rylan Clark on his Thursday night chat show 'Up Late With Rylan' that she got together with Geri Horner and Emma Bunton for a spontaneous studio reunion, although not, unfortunately, with Victoria Beckham and Mel C.

She said: "I'd just flown in for the LGBT awards and I thought I'd just see if my girls were available to hang out and be a bit creative…Haha, damn it. I didn't say anything. Emma, Geri, I didn't say anything!”

Mel's tip comes after speculation that Emma, Geri and she had been in the studio together “laying down” some “fresh new tracks” to commemorate 20 years since their debut single 'Wannabe' was released.

A Spice Girls reunion has been speculated about for a number of months. Initially, it was claimed that the band (minus Victoria Beckham, who apparently has better things to do with her time), were going to be touring.

However, these plans were reportedly thrown into disarray when Mel C bowed out, instead preferring to focus on creating a new solo album.

Mel also fielded speculation on the next 'X Factor' lineup, following the departures of both Rita Ora and Cheryl Cole from the judging panel. She revealed she'd welcome the prospect of another seat, which she vacated last year, saying:

"I love that show, I've always enjoyed going on it. If my name comes up...he throws a lot of names up in the air. I'd love to be involved. If the money is right!"
