Naomi Campbell Expresses 'Disappointment' Over Cardi B And Nicki Minaj Brawl

"I don’t wanna see women of colour fight. I don't wanna see women fight, period."

Naomi Campbell has expressed her “disappointment” in Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, following the pair’s public altercation at a New York Fashion Week party.

The supermodel told presenter Andy Cohen, during an interview on ‘Watch What Happens Live’: “I don’t wanna see women of colour fight. I don’t wanna see women fight, period.

“Music’s for everybody, there’s no discrimination. So, I feel very disappointed.”

Earlier this month, at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party, the long-standing feud between Nicki and Cardi took a turn for the physical, with reports claiming the pair were involved in a brawl, after the ‘Bodak Yellow’ star threw her shoe at her fellow rapper.

During her ‘Watch What Happens Live’ interview, Naomi also threw shade at the event itself, commenting: “It was called the Icon party, but there were no icons there. And I’m going to say it, because I said it to [organiser] Carine Roitfeld’s face. I don’t think that’s something I can’t say.

“But Kate [Moss] and I were at home watching TV.”

Following the physical fight between Cardi and Nicki, former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland made similar comments to Naomi, telling E! News: “There’s no time for us as women to fight and they are just so talented and I just genuinely love them both so much, but it’s just not the time. We have way bigger issues as women, you know what I mean?

“So I don’t know. I’m Switzerland, I don’t fucking know.”

Last year, Naomi tried to downplay reports of a feud between herself and Rihanna on similar grounds, saying: “I don’t have beef... especially with black women who are powerful and out there. We’re all in the same thing, doing the same struggle.
